Where? Located in front of the 7-11 in PJ Newtown. If you think there’s more 7-11’s there than your fingers can keep up with, try looking at the one near the Indian cinema. The last I heard, it’s still rather famous.
Why? The Ramly Burger stall there is not bad. In fact, it’s not too bad at all.

It’s quite hard for me to navigate you there or show you the directions. The best landmark
I can give you is this big Perodua showroom, as seen above. Very easy to find.
Just make sure you’re on the right side of the road. If you are, you should be heading towards
the old Indian cinema.
For the record, this burger stall van is known as Azmy’s Burger.

Just right opposite the showroom is this 7-11 shoplot. Shouldn’t be too hard to find.
Unless you want to start arguing with me about the sheer amount of 7-11 outlets around.
Yes I know. It’s as if they’re like some pest infestation problems.

The difference between these dudes and the other burger sellers is, they HAVE A FRIGGIN VAN. Not the love-mobile where you can make love in the back, but rather, one where you can cook some spanking neat burgers in.
I did try their hotdog ”normal”, which cost a unusual high amount of RM2.30.
Normally hotdogs only cost RM1.80 or so. I guess this means I’m paying for their van expenses
as well. Damn! But thankfully the hotdog does has its saving grace.

This shot was taken from the latest Nokia XPressMusic phone. With a 3.2MP camera that has
autofocus, I must say I’m really impressed with it. Look at the photo quality! And the phone
only cost a mere RM1k+.
Advertisements aside (sadly, I don’t get paid by Nokia), the hotdog was served with freshly sliced cabbage and some cheap brand of mayonnaise, which tastes rather good.
And finally for the meat itself, I can’t say I’ve tasted any better than this. It’s not too black like charcoal and not too undercooked as well. A well balance diet. (an unhealthy one, that is)
Verdict
Azmy’s Burger is…
- impressive.
- not as cheap as your toilet paper.
- not the future of Ramly burgers.
Azmy’s Burger is not…
- one of a kind.
- served on motorcycles.
- a product of a fugitive Mat Rempit.

compare with bomba’s hot dog/burger how?
wah daniel got new phone and camera?
i think this one is better than the ss2 bomba one. that one sometimes will terbakar and hangus..also sometimes got too much black pepper sauce, but this one ok.

I believe nothing beats the burger(AROMA burger) in USJ14 in front of 7-Eleven. Main landmark near the Petronas Station and also the corner where they have lots of fruit stalls. Try once and u’ll definitely go back for more! Trust me….:). Opens from 6pm-till late 3am except Saturdays.
